Sousa Receives EtE Funding

Sousa Middle School Receives More Than $50,000 in Excellence through Equity Funding
Posted on 10/06/2017
We are excited to announce that Sousa Middle School has received $50,250 through DC Public Schools’ new Excellence through Equity funding! As we work to close the achievement gap, we will use this funding to innovate our social emotional learning programs. We will invest in Response to Intervention (RtI), an early detection, prevention, and support system for students who need additional care. We will also invest in LiveSchool, a tracking, motivation, and rewarding system for student behavior and participation. Finally, StudySync will allow us to engage students while advancing their reading, writing, critical thinking, speaking, and listening skills.

You can see a full list of the Excellence through Equity funding across all DCPS schools on the DCPS website.
